The Brunswick Group

The Brunswick Group is a renowned communications firm providing mission-critical counsel to international corporations. When expansion of the San Francisco office necessitated a new space, Brunswick chose one of the city’s most prestigious addresses: One Bush Street. Company leaders asked for a design that would both reflect Brunswick’s stature in the international business community and rise to the level of the architectural masterpiece.

In FENNIE+MEHL’s design, visitors step from the elevator into a magnificent reception area that stretches 60 unobstructed feet, providing ample gathering space for clients and the public. A rich, tawny palette includes a polished concrete floor that unifies the public spaces and a 56-station high security area. Honey-colored wood doors and furniture further warm the office, and just-right accents of royal blue and orange are found throughout.

Brunswick doesn’t lack a sense of playfulness; a phalanx of phone rooms are papered with a multi-color collection of vintage New York Times’ headlines, a nod to Brunswick’s long term relationship with the media.

With stunning views, the new break room is the hub of casual encounters throughout the day, building rapport among employees and solidifying company culture like never before.

If there’s such a thing as a bespoke office, this is it. Every detail supports the way we think and the way we work. Our clients simply love it.
