Ned is co-founder, along with Doug Mehl, of FENNIE+MEHL Architects. He also serves as operations director as well as design director of many F+M projects at any given time. In his 33 years of experience, he has partnered with a wide-range of corporate and developer clients, though his primary focus has been in the commercial sector. He specializes in renovations, from tenant improvement interiors to large-scale building renovations, seismic upgrades and additions. Recognized by his peers as an expert in building codes and their applications, Ned has led code seminars for a variety of audiences. Ned champions a strong connection between F+M and our community, leading the firm’s charitable efforts, primarily for the Americans Diabetes Association Tour de Cure fundraising program. With two twenty-something sons fully launched, Ned and his wife Veronica have come to enjoy the quiet of their San Francisco home. A passionate photographer, bicyclist, kayaker, hiker and skier, Ned reserves a special affection for—who knew—custom millwork.
